BITPROX™ Media

BITPROX™ Media is a desktop video and sound processing SDK made with C# which allows development of media filters similar to DirectShow on Microsoft Windows.

This product includes:

  • Microsoft DirectShow C++ SDK port to Microsoft C# language and .NET platform (specific to Windows OS);
  • C# language offers native language memory safety and automatic garbage collection, IDE from Microsoft;
  • Various basic filters (now called conveyers) written in C# programming language are included such as input, demultiplexers, decoders & encoders for many formats, multiplexers, output conveyers, video & audio rendering conveyers etc.;
  • Interoperability with existing C++ (COM) filters and legacy DirectShow filters;
  • The product is strictly Windows-specific, however can be ported to .NET on Linux if requested.
